Fender 1976 Precision Bass Fretless Electric Bass Guitar Used From Japan

Description

Mid 70's Precision Bass! Factory fretless neck from the early 70's. Available with rosewood fretboard or maple one-piece.
Both rosewood fingerboard and maple one-piece were available.

This is a rosewood fingerboard model with the same number of side markers as usual, but the position of the markers is not between frets, but in line with the fret positions.

The exterior shows some age wear and weather checks, but is in excellent condition overall for vintage gear!

Except for replacing the nut, all parts are original.

The sound produced by the unique fretless playability requires some technique, but the seamless scales and hand vibrato expressiveness is something no bassist should miss out on.
