We are pleased to announce the arrival of a MusicMan Stingray 4 made in 1999.
This is a type of Stingray equipped with a 3-band equalizer.
Compared to the traditional model, this model has more Mid equalizer, which allows for more versatile sound making.
The width of the nut is 42mm, which is almost the same nut width as that of so-called Precision basses.
The latest models today are usually 38mm wide, so we recommend this model for those who prefer a classic wide neck.
As for the sound, the finish can be described as "The Stingray".
As mentioned above, the addition of a midrange allows for a wide variety of sound makeup, but it is characterized by the crisp Stingray-like sound.
The sound of the Stingray is very crisp and clear, and can be used for intense slapping like a bassist in a certain band, as well as for pick-playing and two-finger playing.
There is a crack in the paint, which is common in this age. Please be assured that this damage does not affect the wood, and is only cosmetic.
The neck is in good playing condition, with no extreme swell or high rise, and there is plenty of room in the truss rod.
The truss rod has plenty of room and can still be adjusted.
The frets and nut are probably original, with about 80-90% of the frets remaining.
There is no electrical noise, and there are no other problems.
