You are viewing one live GREEN GAGE PLUM TREE. It's 4'-6' tall. This plum is easy to grow, growing up to 15' tall and 15' wide, or as pruned. OUTSTANDING FEATURES:
* Producing bright green skin plums with amber flesh. Has a very sweet flavor considered to be among the finest dessert plums.
* Ripens Midseason.
* Vigorous producer of small to medium sized fruit and relatively disease resistant
* Self-fertile, however another variety for cross-pollination will make it more productive.
* Requires 700 chilling hours, meaning the minimum hours required between 34-45 degrees F each winter for the fruit bearing tree to blossom.
* Cold hardy to USDA hardiness zones 5-9.
* Perfect for home gardens.
* When planting, space 20' apart, in full sun, therefore at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
* Fertilize in spring just before new growth begins.
We will remove the pot, wrap the roots and soil with wet paper towels, seal in a plastic bag and ship via USPS priority mail to assure freshness. We ship to all 50 states and territories including CA, HI, Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands with TX Ag Dept. Inspection Certificate on all plants going out of state. When you get the tree, put it in healthy soil and water as needed.
