Description: We are pleased to announce the arrival of the 12-string model "1659", which is part of Ovation's top-of-the-line "Custom Legend" lineup made in the 1980's. This model has a deep body made of lilacord! Deep body made of Lilacord, center-hole spruce top.
Unlike other Ovation models, the Custom Legend has an established reputation for its raw sound, and this one has the same rich, raw, and powerful sound.
The expansive sound of the 12-string and the USA Ovation-like tone make this a very classy and comfortable instrument to play.
There are some scratches and dents throughout.
The truss rod is in good condition, and there is enough room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions.
The neck warp has already been adjusted with the rod.
