New Design Boot Selector DF0 DF1 Signal SEL0 from SEL1 Amiga 500/500+/2000
- This is a Floppy Switcher for the Amiga 500/500+/2000. It allows you to switch DF0/DF1, making it possible to boot from either a Gotek drive or the internal floppy drive. without relying on AmigaOS.
- Kickstart 1.3 does boot from DF1. With Kickstart 2.x/3.x you can start from an external unit (DF1), but in both cases the most of the games will boot only if the floppy drive is inserted in DF0, no matter whether you have Kickstart 2.x/3.x or not. This DF0 selector solves this issue. It works works on any Amiga 500/500+/2000 regardless of the Kickstart version. Also it is compatible with floppy disk drive emulators as the Gotek or the HxC
- How to install:
1.) Switch off your Amiga.
2.) Remove the Even CIA chip
3.) Put boot selector into socket
4.) Put chip on top of the boot selector
