Greetings!  Carrying on with this fab HO collection.  An extraordinary one frankly.  Please scroll down and read below the red line - it's worth it I think - if even just the first few paragraphs for more details on it all (and you'll only have to ONCE).  Otherwise I'm not an expert by any means but even to my untrained eye it all looks really super and I'm very excited to be able to offer it to you here, my wonderful train clients!  If I haven't provided enough info or pics please ask for more.  If you don't fair warning and 'WYSIWYG' friends so review the descripts & pics carefully to satisfy yourself.  And THANKS for supporting Auction-Style/No Reserve listings!  (That's how I get 'em & have to fight for 'em too... plus I'll list below my own cost, roll the dice, and let YOU decide fair market value.)

Info & FYI:

Continuing to organize this big bunch.  Because phew.  It's huge (25+ bins still in my little house!).  Really great stuff overall and best I've ever had I think.  (You'll see if you follow along Monday eves lol.)  Everything is different and so far I've seen barely any duplicates.  I'll be listing in 3 week cycles... 1st week will start @ 8:30 pm, 2nd half an hour earlier @ 8, and 3rd @ 7:30, then rinse/repeat.  So I don't mind waiting at all if you want to check out new lists and not pay right away.  Fyi I'll do (most) individually.  Mainly because I can combine ship addt'l for a few bucks more no doubt.  For example whatever you see for one thing (at your end re ship calculator) I could add another into same box for perhaps $3 or so.  Just depends on total weight & your distance from me... but still way cheaper overall and I'll do my best to help!

Description:

Here's an Elgin Joliet & Eastern 50' flat car with 2 John Deere tractors on board.  Pretty cool (and maybe sort of HTF these days?).  Looks to be in excellent cosmetic condition in box.  It measures approx 7"/18 cm long and weighs less than .5 lb, before packing up.  NOTE: For expediencies sake (as I'm assuming these boxed cars are fairly self-explanatory for you?) I've taken few pics of most of them, depending on how well they're packed/wrapped.  If not enough or you need to see more detail just let me know and I will take more & post, no probs.  Overall selling AS-IS, untested (if applicable), and fair warning folks!

Ship Info:  As mentioned above happy to combine ship if you happen to like anything else.  Just do NOT pay me and request total invoice when you're all done and/or let me know if you want to carry over for another week (so that I can discount postage!).  The first item costs the most to send... adding more into same box is much, MUCH less (esp with these freight cars overall) and I can lower that dramatically for you if so, promise.  The more the merrier :)

Please take a few minutes (grab a coffee or drink beforehand?!?) to read ALL of the important info and ship/terms & conditions of sale below... at least ONCE!  If you're kind enough to do so then you can skip it on any of the others as it's common to every item currently listed.  P.S. I've been told that I'm too 'wordy' lol, but I'd rather give you TMI, than not enough!  Thanks :-)

I got this massive collection recently and had to win a truly hard-fought battle to do so believe you me lol.  The owner was more of a 'collector' it seems as he didn't even have a layout.  So somewhat curiously it appears he just bought & bought & bought (a lot of high-end stuff too) and then never really ran quite a lot of it.  (I've only come across this twice before in a decade.)  Consequently the majority are still in box and look virtually new.  There are dozens & dozens of boxed locos incl Athearn, Atlas, Broadway, Kato, MTH, Walthers, Rapido, Protos, passenger & freight cars.  And on and on.

Managed to find space for it all in our little house phew.  Mostly in bedroom, closets are full, bins stacked 3-4 high (and hubby still hasn't divorced me, yet haha).  Feeling a bit overwhelmed re having minimal space to maneuver them all around, and they're heavy.  But I'll keep putting one foot in front of the other and carry on and do my best to get as much listed every week as I can manage (variety for you).  Without killing myself in the process that is anyhow lol.  I just hope that y'all will like it and find a few gems for your own collections in the coming months that you'll enjoy and it will all be worth it in the end for all of us!!

Important note (to reiterate) & bottom line.  Everything is being sold AS IS/AS FOUND untested (unless otherwise stated in descript) with no warranties.  So if that's an issue for you and/or you're not willing to take a chance on whichever item... then please do NOT bid on it.  Otherwise, powered units may need servicing or some TLC after long periods of storage as mentioned, some might be missing small 'detail parts' that I'm unaware of, or are dusty and need a tidy up... but I will leave that to you sorry!  As mentioned I am not an expert (nor grader) and I've described them as honestly as poss/to the best of my ability.  I've also done my best to price fairly and list below my own cost, no kidding.  I don't nickel & dime these folks, as they often need it quite frankly.  So if it ends up being a labour of love at the end of the day for me... so be it.  Life's not all about money :)

I've taken numerous photos so please review them and judge for yourself as condition can be subjective.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!  With some pieces I may not have taken as many because imho they're fairly 'self-explanatory' or still packed like new.  Let me know if you'd like more or if you have any questions or concerns kindly ask prior to bidding to ensure we have a pleasant, successful transaction.

I love to hear from you so if you happen to have any advice for me, or I've erred, please contact me as your expertise is always welcome... don't be shy lol.  As an eBay buyer myself I want you to be thrilled & satisfied with your purchase!  In the rare event there is some sort of an 'issue' contact me ASAP to fix/resolve.  My only intent and the reason I do this at all is for you to be happy at the end of the day.  Please note that returns will NOT be accepted solely for "buyer's remorse" so if you change your mind after you win, please let me know BEFORE I ship out to save us both any grief.  Never a problem for me to cancel your bid upon request.

Your positive feedback is greatly appreciated and also important.  It let's me know that you got it okay and be able to get in touch with you in future in case I get more of what you might like down the road.  (Feedback is the one thing that doesn't 'go away' or drop off like all my other lists do.)  I always reciprocate yours, and strive to provide 5 star PLUS service.  Refer to my 100% poz fb (which I've worked hard for and proud of!) if you desire.  And thank you all so much for helping me achieve 'Top Rated' status as well.  I'll continue to work hard to source out more good 'stuff' for you!

Important Payment Terms & Ship Info:

Payment is due ASAP please if you can manage it.  (If you need more time just let me know and we can work it out.)  Asking that favour from you mostly because I go to my p.o. depot (box will say 'De Arts' as sender) Wed afts for sure and, as a 'one gal show' here lol, simply don't have the ability to go back day after day sorry.  Rest assured I pack very carefully/don't gouge you and only charge actual postage with no extra fees for packing materials, boxes, gas/travel time blah blah (or even unfair 10% fee eBay takes for doing nothing grrr) and cover all those additional costs on your behalf.

USA:  I've been using a 'direct to USPS' shipper (and they've been fab!).  Much better for you re track # & way faster it seems overall.  Only problem is the calculator here may not be entirely accurate, esp for heavy boxes.  Long story.  So it's important that you don't pay me and WAIT for ME to calculate costs and send you an invoice with correct amount if big item.  Otherwise if you'd like exact total to your zip (and/or want to combine) I could size & weigh up your 'wish list' and let you know total.

Canada:  Calculator here should work okay for you fellow Canucks and be quite accurate.  I can ship a few things for probably what it will cost for one or two (if poss), so it's truly to your advantage to also to make the package as heavy as possible as I won't charge you much extra/as little as I can.  Well worth it to combine (if I can!) and will save you quite a bit at the end of the day, no kidding!  Otherwise main variable is how far away you are from Toronto and/or if you're in a really rural area (re fuel surcharges etc).  If you're in TO/GTA, local pick up is welcome IF worth the time/potential traffic headache for you... most days late aft or eves okay for me :)

Overseas/UK/Europe/NZ/Oz etc:  Happy to ship abroad... but if any interest best to contact me for shipping quote.  Costs can vary quite a bit depending on which country you live in and volume/weight of package.  Airmail tracked ain't cheap either way though and beyond my control sorry!

Lastly, less than 10/zero feedback/new or inactive account winning bidders, you must accept Tracked shipping (in order to comply with eBay's strict rules/programs and to protect us both).  If not your bid may be cancelled at my sole discretion.  Thank you for your understanding.

NOTE:  Many US states (plus Int'l) are now charging sales or VAT taxes on 'online purchases' (from anywhere?) apparently.  Please realize that this has absolutely zippo to do with me!  So if you do notice it on invoice, at your end, sorry for that but nothing I can do about it :(

Thanks so much for stopping by and looking, watching and/or bidding.  I greatly appreciate it... and I'm sorry that I can't contact all of you 'under bidders' also to thank you personally as well.  I wish I could but it would literally take forever to do so/nowhere near enough time in the day plus I'd get nothing listed every week if I did!   Have fun, happy railroading, and good luck.  Best wishes!   Alison :-)
