You are purchasing a nice early prototype of the Peavey Cirrus 4 Bass with a gorgeous Redwood top. This bass is one of the first Cirrus prototypes hand built by Mike Powers, Peavey's departed Master Luthier, in late 1996. Note the pencil marks on the headstock, showing other smaller profiles that were considered. It was later owned and played by a former Mechanical Engineer that worked in Peavey's guitar division from its inception. It is currently professionally set up for B-E-A-D with larger strings and has the concentric mid-shift 3-band EQ system. This is a phenomenal sounding, low-tuned, hand-made USA bass with an amazing setup, not to mention a solid history and pedigree like no other Cirrus. Please PM me with any questions. NOS hardshell Cirrus case included. Thanks for looking!
