Description: The piece is made from copper and measures about 29mm in diameter. It is listed in Dalton & Hamer (D&H 55).

OBVERSE: Bust of John Howard, IOHN HOWARD F.R.S PHILANTHROPIST around. 
REVERSE: Arms of the borough, PORTSMOUTH AND CHICHESTER. HALF PENNY above in two curved lines, 1794 in exergue.
EDGE: PAYABLE AT SHARPS PORTSMOUTH AND CHALDECOTTS CHICHESTER.

It has been graded at MS-64 BN by NGC and encapsulated.
