It is a study of trees and plants in a hedgerow as the colours of Autumn start to appear.

Dated Sept 86 lower left and signed lowe right. There are a small number of auction listings for other watercolours by this artist and also some shown on Pinterest all of which display the same focus light and colour in the natural world but I have not been able to find any biographical information.

Painted in watercolours on paper and in excellent condition. Well presented with a white card mount within an antiqued wood frame in cream and grey. Both mount and frame are in excellent, but not new, condition.

Glazed and ready to hang.

Measures 59 x 45.5cm including the frame, the visible painting only is 40 x 28.5cm.
