drive but with almost no power

at all. Even the small Renaults

featured craftsmanship never

found in any American automo-

bile of any period. This beautiful

little machine was on a Long Is-

land estate for many years. The

body is varnished in mahogany

the fenders are patent leather.

built this steam carriage which

went two miles

per hour and

ran only 15 minutes on its fuel.
