The initial setup for USB drive is easy! Just Copy the following files to the root of your USB drive:
  • HxC_Compat_Mode/Amiga/AUTOBOOT.HFE
  • HxC_Compat_Mode/HXCSDFE.CFG
Here’s the link for the files: https://github.com/keirf/flashfloppy/wiki/Downloads

Very Important:
  • The USB Pen Drive is NOT included.
  • The bracket is fit to Amiga 600 only. If you are using another model, welcome to search in my store.
  • It’s an internal floppy drive. If you need a external one, our store can also provide for Amiga 500+, Amiga 600 and Amiga 1200. (External floppy drive works on Amiga 500 but you need a DF0/DF1 boot selector)
  • Please be sure to read the relevant projects on GitHub (especially flashfloppy) before purchasing!

Special thanks to:
  • Keir Fraser -- The author of flashfloppy project. It makes your gotek based floppy drive emulator work well. https://github.com/keirf/flashfloppy (Public Domain)
  • Richard Rozehnal -- The author of Gotek Floppy Disk Emulator V2. The PCB is designed very well. https://github.com/RichardRozehnal/Gotek-Floppy-Disk-Emulator-V2 (GPL-3.0 license)
  • Btw I made some changes to the layout. The OLED pin position on the PCB is opposite to the original design. I also adjusted the USB female port to fit the 3D printing bracket. You could download the Gerber file from here: https://github.com/BitsRetro/Gotek-Floppy-Disk-Emulator-V2/blob/main/Gerber_Gotek_Floppy_Disk_Emulator_V2_adjusted.zip  (GPL-3.0 license)

  • _CrazyBob_ -- The author of Amiga 600 Gotek USB bracket. It’s 3d printed. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2745095 (Creative Commons - Attribution - Share Alike license)
  • As the pcb layout is different, I made some changes to the bracket. You could download from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6544014 (Creative Commons - Attribution - Share Alike license)

  • Oleg Mishin -- The author of GotekFlashFloppy. It’s a different designation for gotek floppy emulator. The 3d printed control panel is great! https://github.com/OlegMishin/GotekFlashFloppy (GPL-3.0 license)
  • I adjusted the Rotary & Oled panel to fit the Amiga cover perfectly. Here is the file: https://github.com/BitsRetro/GotekFlashFloppy (GPL-3.0 license)

  • Gary Roberts -- The author of Amiga game ‘Tanx’. It’s a highly recommended game. https://openretro.org/amiga/tanx/files (Public Domain)

Many thanks for the authors!
