Made in August 1985 and purchased right here in Maumee, OH brand new in 1986, this Rickenbacker 4003 is an incredible one-owner instrument with years of love worked into it. Since the late 1950's Rickenbacker has been producing some of music's best electric basses including this 4003. Seen on stage with bands like Pink Floyd, The Who, Yes, Genesis, Rush, Motorhead, and even Metallica, Rickebackers are known for their incredible tone and ease of playability.

This product includes a rare Rick-O-Box which allows for pickup splitting using the Rick-O-Sound jack on a Rickenbacker bass. The two resulting outputs can be connected to separate amps for a rich stereo sound. This is a must-have for serious players. By using a stereo guitar cable and the Rick-O-Sound jack, each pickup can be routed to a different amp for a unique stereo effect that cannot be achieved through any other means. Alternatively, each pickup can be processed separately with different effects.
