Modified Vintage Swiss Army Wool Jerkin
As Pictured
Originally a Swiss army jacket which I've used as a testbed for a few ideas: modfied to a jerkin, added a couple of buttonholes to button right up to the neck and a reverse half belt to the rear to enhance the fitted shape. You'll have to be a bit of a skinny irk to use the latter as the jerkin's pretty fitted as it is. The waist adjusts from about 33 to 29 to 25".
The mods are pretty rough and ready but good and functional. The thread colours I used are not a great match for the fabric, too blue- the fabric is actully quite a difficult colour. There's some ends of black thread left around the edge of the collar where an insignia was formerly attached. Overall looks are good. The quality of the jacket and wool fabric is very good and general condition too is very good.
Size is 34- 38" Chest, Short Height. It'll be a a fairly close fit for a 38", good for wearing over a shirt or thin sweater at most.
