These hi-cut sprinter shorts are made to measure from luxurious super-shiny Acetate Satin which is as close as I can get to shiny 70s/80s style satin that was used for football shorts back in the good old days!

The design features a 2.5cm-wide elastic waistband, plus trim around the legs and two narrow stripes in WHITE Acetate Satin. I can change the colour of the stripes/trim if you prefer. Other options are BLACK, RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, TURQUOISE, ROYAL BLUE & NAVY BLUE. Just add a note to your order if you want one of these instead of the white trim.

*** Please note that it is uneconomical for me to keep all colours of this fabric in stock. It comes from Thailand, so it's expensive to import. Therefore, I will order the fabric in bulk once a month, in accordance with the specific orders I have received. Please therefore allow UP TO SIX WEEKS to receive your order. ***

I make these shorts personally for you from scratch and all sizes are available from XS to 3XL.

The shorts are machine-washable up to 40 degrees, can be ironed inside out on a cool setting while still damp and should be left to dry naturally. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY OR IRON TOO HOT, OR THEY MAY MELT!!!

You receive a brand new unworn pair, made to order - the shorts worn in the pictures are not sent.

NEW BUYERS: I strongly recommend that you order just one pair to start with. That way, you can be sure that the size and cut of the design will work for you.

If your size isn't listed, then let me know and I'll see what I can do!

I can also adapt the following measurements to your specific requirements:

  • Inside leg
  • Waistband to crotch measurement
  • Leg circumference
  • Unstretched waistband (i.e. the length of elastic used)
  • Fully stretched waistband (i.e. how far they will stretch to the maximum)

Just ask me and most of the time it will be possible at no extra cost.

I have a lot more images of different designs that I have created with this fabric. Just get in touch if you want to discuss further.

Any other questions, give me a shout.

Due to extremely high demand at the moment, it is taking me longer than usual to make and send new orders. It could take up to 28 days before I can dispatch your order. If you want to check the current delay before ordering, send me a message! (If waiting isn't a problem, then go ahead and order. The system will notify you when I have managed to make and send your order.)

UPDATE - 31/12/20

SHIPPING

The UK has now left the EU and will be trading under its own rules from now on. This may mean that packages shipped from the UK to the EU will take longer than they used to, due to customs inspections.

In order to help you keep track of your orders in the event of any delay, I will be shipping all orders going outside the UK from now on with a tracking number. (If you don't want tracked mailing, however, you can request an invoice when you place your order, instructing me to just use the cheaper International Standard mailing service.)

CUSTOMS DUTY FEES

EU customers might find that they incur unexpected customs fees from now on, which are sadly beyond my control. If this happens, I can refund you the value of the fees in the form of discount codes to use on my own 'ShinyShortzRyan' website. Browse for my site online - it's easy to find! - and contact me there if you wish to take advantage of this offer.

UPDATE - 04/07/2021

New EU VAT rules have now come into force as of 1 July 2021. This means that, from now on, buyers in EU countries will be automatically charged VAT by Ebay when they go through the checkout process and Ebay will remit it to the responsible tax authorities.

To mitigate some of this extra cost to you, I have created extra discounts for multi-buy purchases, so the more items you put in your cart, the bigger the discount you will receive.

You can also get in touch with me to discuss other ways in which I can help to reduce the total that you have to pay if you are in an EU country.

Thanks for your understanding.

UPDATE for EU customers (7 August 2021)

If the total value of your order is under 150 Euros (£135), VAT will be charged to you directly at the checkout. This means that your order should travel through the postal system without any delay and there should be no additional fees to pay.

If the total value of your order is above 150 Euros (£135), Ebay will not be able to charge the VAT at checkout and it will be applied instead at the point of importation. Your postal delivery service will then charge you the VAT (plus a possible handling charge) before delivery. This could cause extra delays which are beyond my control.

Therefore, I recommend that EU customers limit the total order value to 150 Euros (£135).

Update - 17 April 2022

to celebrate five years of working pretty much non-stop, i have decided to give myself a 'weekend', which will typically be thursday & friday of every week. I might be away from home on these days, so won't always be able to dispatch orders or reply to messages, but I will be on the case as soon as possible, usually by the saturday morning. Many thanks! Ryan ;-)
