The steel parts on the vaporiser are marked A C King London.  The mask and it's steel attachments are marked BOC Medical Section. The clamp is marked A C King London.

There are several clues to the date of this equipment. It all came to me together with 3 ICI information leaflets dated 1944 to 1951. The cap on the small tube on the mask (photo 15) is made of Bakelite which was phased out for newer plastics during the 1950s.  A C King was pioneering designer of anaesthesia equipment in the 1920s and 1930s. In 1939 his Limited Company became an part of the BOC conglomerate.

The metal parts are stainless steel which is all in good condition with just a few minor scuffs here and there.

The vaporiser vase is coloured glass which is good with no cracks or chips. The glass vase is sealed to the steel part with a hard putty-like substance

The main part of the mask is made of vulcanised rubber which has few scuffs.  The face-contact part is also made of rubber which is quite hard. I imagine this part was originally more supple and has hardened with age. No sign of any perishing in the rubber.

The orange rubber connecting tube is about 120cm long. This is in very good condition. The rubber is so supple that I have some doubts about whether this is as old as the rest of the parts.

There is also a small stainless steel clamp which came together with it. It is in good condition. I do not know the purpose of the clamp.

The 3 leaflets are a bit faded and have some minor creases but are good and readable..

The card and faux leather box is a bit tatty with marks and scuffs but it is in one piece and everything fits fairly neatly in to it. It has a rusty but working catch.

The box is 24 x 18.5 x 14cm. See last photo for an idea of other dimensions

Weighs about 1675g.
