Description

Welcome to All Music Inc's Musicdungeon, you are looking at an incredible vintage piece.
This is the Vintage 1977 Gibson ES-355TD Stereo Electric Guitar. 24.75" scale. 1.55" nut width. 9 lbs 10 oz.
.84"-.99" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
This 355 has it all- Vibrola, Varitone, and Stereo.
The maple body here combines with the dual Patent No etch humbuckers to create the quintessential 'Gibson Semi Hollow' tone.
The cleans are articulate and full and the overdrive tones are just out of this world.
The Patent No's here really open up with fantastic mids when pushed.
The bridge position brings the high end mid crunch and the neck has the 'seemingly infinite' thick sustain- just incredible.
Add to that the Varitone- and there are a whole world of gorgeous tones- just a knob away.
The stereo jack uses a Y-cable to run each pickup to its own amplifier.
The Vibrola provides smooth pitch effects- as perfect as you remember.
The maple neck on this 355 features a nice oval C profile.
Enough meat to add to the overall tone, but feels very thin in your hands owing to the narrow nut width.
This Gibson is in very good overall condition- there is the normal finish checking, scratches, and dings you expect on an example nearing its 50th birthday.
Nothing that affects the performance whatsoever.
This came to us without the Varitone circuit, a new circuit was added.
The frets here are in good condition- typical divots.
A piece of art from head to toe- gold hardware, ebony board, block inlays, multi-ply binding- it's all here.
This ES-355 is in its original case.
This is your chance to get your hands on a rare, incredible piece of Gibson history- the 1977 ES-355TD.
