The Camapgnolo  rotors are not only visually reminiscent of the Campagnolo Road brake discs. The friction rings are nearly identical and they feature the same two-piece riveted construction. Only the spider of the AFS rotors for Campagnolo's Ekar group is made of steel instead of aluminum, which makes the brake discs slightly heavier. The friction rings made of stainless steel have a very good modulation and progressive braking feel in connection with the Ekar brake levers. In addition, the material is extremely corrosion-resistant.
