Original Color Lithograph by Mac Zimmermann, printed on heavy laid paper, signed and numbered (1/50, i.e. the first of an edition of 50).  Size is 54 cm x 44.5 cm.

The lithograph is in very good condition.  

Mac Zimmermann (1912-1995) who came under the influence of the "Pittura Metafisica" was persecuted under the National Socialists in Germany.  In 1948 and again in 1954, Zimmermann exhibited at the Venice Biennale.  Together with Rudolf Schlichter and Edgar Ende, he was among the great representatives of German Surrealism, deeply influenced by the power of dreams in his provocative creations.
