Aída Sullivan Coya, also known as Aída Sullivan de Rodríguez, was the First Lady of Mexico from 1932 to 1934, as well as the First Lady of the state of Sonora between 1943 and 1948. Sullivan was the third wife of Mexican President Abelardo L. Rodríguez.
Book was written in response to the high infant mortality rate at the time.
