1982-83 Texas A&M Basketball media guide, Shelby Metcalf,  Claude Riley, EX. Shelby coached at Texas A&M for 27 seasons leading teams to 6 SWC championships and 2 SWC tournaments. He was inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in 1994.
