THE CONCORDE... AIRPORT '79 [2-disc Extended TV Version] M.O.D. DVD (Manufactured On Demand)

177 minutes | Full Screen | Color | English | Region 0 (will play on any DVD player worldwide regardless if it's an NTSC or PAL machine)

The fourth and final Airport film is the holy grail of all late night cheesy movies as far as we're concerned! George Kennedy returns as Capt. Joe Patroni, this time co-piloting with Alain Delon. The plane is on its way to the Moscow Olympics, has a bomb on board, and gets fired upon with missiles that necessitate flying upside-down. A look at the cast list resembles a bad episode of Fantasy Island: Mercedes McCambridge, Cicely Tyson, Ed Begley Jr. Jimmie Walker, Charo, and -- oddly enough -- Bibi Andersson rub shoulders with high-altitude disaster. This special 2-disc extended TV version features over an hour of additional footage not featured in the theatrical version, including deleted scenes, additional scenes shot two years after the film's initial release, an alternate ending, and even new storylines (Jessica Walter appears in a dream sequence as Patroni's dead wife Marie)
