This is for an antique wooden walking stick with a concealed rule with water spirit level inside for measuring horse heights. It has the original sterling silver band with full English hallmarks dating to London 1889 along with the initials T.I for Thomas Ingleton. The wooden rule is marked in Metre and Hands and as stated has a level mounted into the brass. It is in fair condition with a crack in the rule as shown. It measures
