Henry Ives Cobb Jr. (24 Mar 1883 – Aug 1974) was an American artist and architect who
lived and worked in NYC. He was known for his paintings of NYC, especially Central Park.
He was a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Art Students League of NY,
as well as the Society of Independent Artists and the Royal Academy.
Gwendolyn was his second wife, whom he married in October of 1920.
Cobb's collection of John LaFarge's sketches and renderings to Columbia University,
where they can be found in the Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library.
