"The 45,647 tons AQUITANIA was launched in 1913, and had only completed 3 voyages before the First World War broke ou. After wartime trooping and hospital ship duties, she returned to the Liverpool-New York service in 1919. At the end of her 582nd crossing in 1939 was again requisitioned for service in the Second World War. She was broken up at Faslane in 1950."
