"BERENGARIA

The 52,000 ton BERENGARIA was launched as the IMPERATOR on 23rd May 1912 in Hamburg for the Hamburg-America Line. Following the First World War, the ship was taken over by Cunard and renamed BERENGARIA. She operated on the Southampton-New York service in conjunction with MAURETANIA and AQUITANIA, and was finally withdrawn from service in 1938."
