First version of the Elvis Presley El-cyclopaedia compiled by David T Cardwell and edited by Albert Hand.

This was sold as 42 loose pages with the option of buying a ring binder to keep them in.  Pages were 2 old pence each and the binder 10 shillings.

The complete set of 42 pages was available in January 1964 but original pages were sold prior to that.  The idea was to add pages as more detail was compiled.

This item has a red binder with the title in gold coloured lettering.  Small split on bottom of binder front cover.

All 42 pages are present.  Black ink on white paper.

Content in alphabetic order with much detail of Elvis and career up to publication date, reviews of films and recordings etc

Foreword by Albert Hand.

Size:  26.5cm x 21cm x 26.5cm x 1cm (10.3/8" x 8.1/4" x .3/8")

There are no tears or folds but signs of ageing due to many years of storage.

A real collector's item.
