An antique, very rare and exquisite oil or kerosene lamp made in purple porcelain with an exquisite white enameled relief of three birds with flowers, leaves and applied white circles (jeweled). Incredibly detailed and intricate figural decoration in the neoclassical or empire style. Cast brass or bronze circular base with fleur de lis. Round brass ring on top for removable kerosene tank. Electrified (may need new wires). Made during second half or XIX century. Very good condition with minimal signals of use consistent with age. No ships, cracks, broken or missing parts. It seems to have a small cocking defect in the edge of the tank (see pictures). A really extraordinary lamp for demanding collectors. Height including glass tube is 68 centimeters. Height excluding glass tube is 46 centimeters. Diameter of porcelain body is 13 centimeters. Wide of brass base is 20 centimeters.
