A game that featured nearly 1,000 yards of total offense and big play after big play, the Minnesota Vikings defeated the Dallas Cowboys 46-36 at Texas Stadium on Thanksgiving Day. The Vikings jumped out to a 21-6 first quater lead on three Randall Cunningham touchdown passes. He connected with Randy Moss twice, once for 51 and another for 56 yards. He also connected with Cris Carter on a 54 yards touchdown. Moss also caught a 56 yard touchdown pass in the third quarter and also caught a two point conversion play. Leroy Hoard rushed for two touchdowns, one going for 50 yards. For the Cowboys Troy Aikman passed for 455 yards including a 67 yard touchdown pass to Patrick Jeffers. Emmitt Smith was held to 44 yards on 18 carries but did rush for three touchdowns. The Vikings improved to 11-1.
