This is in ok to decent condition overall. There is no band across the center to secure it onto the base, although it does sit on the base if not moved about. The leather is in specked, nicked, tears, worn condition all over; from the base to the top of the cannon. Some areas have more missing leather pieces than others. Some areas are just worn. Seems the top of the cannon shows the most wear. The band around the middle is worn off completely at the back and coming up a bit at the edges that are still intact. This decanter is empty. I do not see any markings as to manufacture or location. The lion's head is in decent+ to nice- condition.  The base also shows wear. It needs a good polish/cleaning. Leather is coming up a bit on the base rounded side.
