Description: A very finely engraved original, outline hand coloured, antique map of several islands in the Atlantic Ocean including the Azores, Madeira, the Canary Islands and the Cape Verde Islands, in the mid 19th century. The map is decorated with several beautifully engraved vignettes, including a view of Madeira, Funchal, and Tenerife.

Condition: Very good condition. Outline hand colouring. Light age toning / handling marks. Several tiny nicks to the right edge of the sheet, well away from the printed area. Please study all the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
