Description: an original, antique, hand-coloured strip road map showing part of the road from London to Exeter.
Drawn on a scale of 1 inch to 1 mile, it includes details of Seats of the nobility and gentry, as well as notable topographical features and settlements along the route.
The road passes through numerous places including: Basingstoke, Kempshott Park, Sutton.
This is a relatively rare antique road map as it was not published in numerous editions such as those by some of Mogg's contemporaries. Ideally suited for framing and display, if desired.

Condition: Very good condition. Hand coloured. Several tiny nicks to the edge of the sheet where it was bound into the source publication. Please study all the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
