Size: The printed area measures approximately 300mm x 391mm with margins beyond; blank verso.

Description: A very finely steel-engraved map of Nova Scotia and the Gulf of St Lawrence in the early 19th century. It has good detail of place names and topography.

Cartographer / engraver: Engraved by J & C Walker.

Provenance: 'Maps of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge', Vol II, London, Chapman and Hall, 1844

Condition: Very good condition. Light age toning. Age spot to top right corner of the map. Very slight curl to the extreme left edge of the sheet where it was once bound into the source publication, not affecting the printed area. Please study all the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
