Antique Continental german typewriter Wanderer Werke Siegmans Schonau from 1936 in excellent, in its original state! Very RAR so a beautiful, not renewed machine!
This is an impressive Klein-Continental typewriter, which was made in Germany in 1936. This typewriter is a really attractive machine and has only very few sign of wear. Remains very shiny and in excellent shape. The Klein-Continental was not made for export into the USA, so these machines are rather uncommon to find outside of Europe. As such, this typewriter does have the German "QWERTZ" keyboard layout. While this typewriter is fully functional in all aspects and is a decently smooth machine overall.
If you're looking for an extremely uncommon and collectible pre-war German typewriter that can still be used every-so-often, then this is a great machine for you.
The case is still in excellent condition also, as you can see on the pictures.
Serial nr. R213828, that means it was produced in 1936.
The machine has been cleaned and serviced and is in very good, functional vintage condition with few signs of wear of its age.
The black paint is in good condition. The machine comes with new ribbon. It has a german keyboard layout.
