Check out this gorgeous circa 1890s white ironstone ewer in the Chain of Tulips body style by the English firm of J. & G. Meakin. This ewer, also be called a wash pitcher, is 12 1/4" tall to the top of the pour spout. The black Royal Arms mark on the underside of the ewer states "Ironstone China, J. & G. Meakin, Hanley, England."

This magnificent ewer has a shiny white glaze and clear embossment. It is free of chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines, and discoloration. Crazing, which is common to ironstone, is present. Please use the photos to assist you in determining if the condition of this ewer meets with your requirements.
