An attractive, miniature engraved map of Wiltshire originally published in J. Wallis's Wallis's New Pocket Edition of the English Counties or Travellers Companion in which are carefully laid down all the Direct and Cross Roads, Cities, Townes, Villages, Parks, Seats and Rivers with a General Map of England & Wales, in c.1810. Given its small size the map is remarkably detailed, has a small simple title cartouche, a compass rose, a scale of miles, an 'Explanation' below the map, and is attractively hand-coloured. The sheet measures approximately 100mm x 145mm and is blank verso.

Condition report: Excellent condition, slightly uneven left edge of sheet where it has previously been removed from its original publication. See photographs.
