Up for sale is a very nice 1951 Ford Deluxe Coupe with original low miles. The Ford has had updates and is now a very nice street Rod and great driver. The engine, transmission, rearend and brake have all been updated. This little Ford has been in this family for 30 years and when purchased from an 80-year-old couple it only had 29,000 original miles on the car. It had always been stored inside and looked very nice in its original condition. It was running its original flathead engine, and it was driven for several years with the Flathead, then the new ZZ4 - 355 HP aluminum head crate engine was installed about 10 years ago. It's running a 650 Holley carburetor, CDI Ignition, Sanderson block huger header and full-length exhaust with heat shields. A rebuilt 350 Turbo transmission was used in the build and a completely rebuilt Ford 8" rearend with 373 gears was also installed at the same time. Also, a new walker radiator was installed, and it has two fans and one electric fan thermostatically controlled to keep it running cool when the air-conditioning is turned on. The vintage Air-conditioning / heater system was also put in place at this time. Also controls, vents, gages and Sterio player were installed in custom under dash panel, so there was no cutting on the original dash. In 2019 upgrades were, new power brakes with disk brakes up front and new lowering springs, new shocks allaround and a heavy-duty sway bar up front. The car was also lowered a little in the rear with new leaf springs for a cooler look. All the mechanical is in excellent shape, and it drive very nice. The car has been repainted one time over its very nice no damage ever body and in its original color. The original color is "MEXICALI MAROON METALIC". There wasn't any rust in the car at the time it was painted but we just saw a spot that was starting to get some small bubbles on the lower driver's side front fender at the bottom rear, when the car was put on the lift for taking pictures. The rest of the car has no rust at all. (Please look at all pictures closely) The car is all original outside other than paint and most of the inside even all the rubber molding are nice and original. All outside Chrome has all been re-chromed and the stainless is perfect and beautiful. The interior has had the seats re-upholstered, and a new head liner installed but the rest of the interior is its original, dash, kick panels, door panels, interior fixtures and all look new. Seat belts were also added for safety. The only thing we could find that the car needs is the Air conditioning need to be charged as the car has been sitting for a while. The wheels are the originals 15" painted to match with original hubcaps and good BF-Goodrich radial tires. The owner said that you can drive this car anywhere and not worry. My cousin let me drive this beautiful little Ford and it dose drive very nice with no raddles or squeaks of any kind. It goes down the road with ease and with the ZZ4 engine it will Suprise you with its power. (better hang on) I'm listing this beautiful little Ford for Cousin, and the builder of the car.
