I have a Fender Mustang bass string mute for sale.

I replicated it from the original mute for my restoration project. I have a few extras left as the manufacturer had a minimum order quantity.

This mute will give your bass a complete vintage-correct look.

It will fit reissue and vintage bridges, including Squier CV, Vintera, JMJ, and Original vintage Mustang basses.

FULL DISCLOSURE: The specifications are on point with the original mute, including thickness. This might not be yours if you expect it to work like a modern string mute. Honestly, I don't think it will function well in the long run. (Imagine a thin metal sheet that was screwed down for years..) However, you can still use it to mute the strings by adjusting the finger height after loosening the screws. But mostly, people keep it for its aesthetic appeal, as the original parts flatten out, too.

The bridges in the pictures are JMJ Road-worn and vintage bridges for reference only. The bridge is not included.

I recommend getting NOS for unreliced bridges like the CV or Vintera, while Aged looks better on road-worn or vintage bridges.

Add $2 for mounting screws.

These are hard to come by, so grab them while you can!
