Set of 3, vintage, mid century modern
Noritake Sasaki Wheat pattern (smooth bulbous stem) Cocktail or Champagne Glasses.
This now
discontinued pattern is a classic 1960s naturally inspired, simple cut
glass motif on hand blown glass goblets with smooth, clean design
profiles. The shapely, bulbous stem version of the Wheat pattern were
produced for a short time and are more unusual to find than their
counterparts that came with faceted or smooth stems. In addition, these
glasses have a flared, rather than straight cup, giving them a
distinctly more feminine look. These
glasses measure 4 5/8" high and are 2 7/8" in diameter around the top
and 2
1/2" across the base. This set is in excellent condition with no chips,
cracks or breaks. Carefully packed. A simple, elegant
set of glasses to serve champagne or cocktails for a happy hour with friends or when celebrating a special occasion.
