Movement    

17 jewel signed lever set full plate movement, grade 937, 18 size, nr.15305

hand winding at 3 o’clock, adjusted to temperature, isochronism and 5 positions

full nickel plates and bridges, jewels in gold settings all screwed

blued Breguet hairspring, patent micrometric regulator, compensation balance

highly polished conical screws, beautifully damaskeened and ornamented

the movement is in mint condition and well running

absolutely scarce: only 4930 made!

    

 

Case

mint signed customized nickel swing-ring case with very fine finished screwed bezel

 and impressive see through back

back and bezel threat up easily and both seat tight and screw on and of smoothly

diameter case: 58mm

 

Dial

mint original white porcelain-enamel double sunk dial with black Arabic numerals

and red five minute markings

immaculate sharp bevelled crystals in front and back

delicate fleur-de-lis blued steel hands

subsidiary seconds

 

Crown

mint bold crown with fine ribbed collar, sharply defined for a sure grip

it turns freely but, by design, does not extract, because the movement is lever set

the bow shows no brassing or damage and actually holds tight to positions

this early numbered superscarce 18 size Railroad pocket watch movement

in a flawless open face display case is in mint condition

quite rare for a 125 years old watch

 

 an absolute eye-catcher in every Hamilton collection

the original gold hunting case is perhaps melted

but the new see through case yiels profit

and is today the only way to exposure all the gems
