1969 NFL TITLE - Minnesota Vikings vs Cleveland Browns DVD

This is a partial broadcast. The broadcast includes the NFL today pre-game show and commercials but game action ends just before halftime with the Vikings leading the Browns 24-0Joe Kapp threw for one touchdown and ran for another as the Minnesota Vikings defeated the Cleveland Browns 27-7 at Metropolitan Stadium for the 1969 NFL Championship. Although not as severe as the "Ice Bowl" the weather conditions were bitterly cold with a temperature of 8 degrees Fahrenheit. Cleveland LB Jim Houston suffered frostbite during the game and was hospitalized. Minnesota scored first as Kapp scored on a seven yard run. They extended the lead to 24-0 behind a Kapp 75 yard touchdown pass to Gene Washington. Minnesota took a 24-0 lead into the locker room at halftime.
