“Union Station & PHX” (2004) Super 8mm Film, Metro Train, Inside Train, Station

Shooting actual film in 2004 is impressive. I believe that was the Super 8 comeback period.

Film captures metro trains on the tracks as well as footage from inside underground trains and surrounding cityscape. Filmmaker has done some artsy things when shooting with lots of short clips and fast forward shots.

FILM CONDITION:

Film is in good condition, ran smoothly and has no detectable vinegar syndrome.

Partial 5” reel (approximately 6 min)

Rough timeline:

1 min 30 sec - outside Union Station, train going by, building, train

1 min - fast forward film, seagull ( some out of focus)

1 min - city, bridge, water

1 min - inside underground train, train arriving/departing, escalators (dark footage)

45 sec - plane, De icing plane

45 sec - road trip
