This beautiful antique trinket box from Austria dates from around 1900. It features a stunning portrait of Erbluth on the lid and is signed by the artist, Wagner. The style of portrait is that of Romanticism. The box is a perfect addition to any porcelain collection, with its intricate design with gold patterns and rich history. These boxes are hard to find intact; the Vienna porcelain makers are more renowned for their cabinet plates. There are two small chips on the upper rim and one small chip on the rim of the bowl- these do not show when the box is closed. Please see the photos.
