The distillery that William Arnold, Thos. Dobbins, and Reuben Harshman started at 117 East Third Street in Dayton closed in 1873. F A Schwill reopened it in 1878 for a single year. Louis H. Herancourt and Chas. B. Moser of Cincinnati reopened it in 1882, and they operated it until 1887.
