Striking Small Antique Carved Treen Tiger Maple Scoop Measure Dipper Folk Art.

Description: This little tiger maple treen dipper / scoop has so much going for it. Based on the aged patina, this likely dates from the 19th c. The carving is so elegant, it almost looks like a little bird in flight. It has a darkened satiny patina and tiger striping is gorgeous. It has a crisply turned bowl - measures just about 1/4 cup in rice; while the exterior is smooth with not crisp edges. The handle is small but elegantly turned, with a slight indent at the end where the thumb would rest; it shows mild, age-affirming use wear. It's a beauty, and a lovely little piece of folk art for your antique primitives collection.

Condition: Excellent antique condition, with very minor, age-appropriate surface wear and a small dark spot in the bowl. (See photos.)

Size: Approx. 6" L.

Shipping Cost: $7.00 (U.S. Only).

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ THE INFO AND POLICIES BELOW BEFORE BIDDING OR PURCHASING. THANK YOU!

SHIPPING: USPS Priority Mail - U.S. Only. I strive to ship within 2 business days (Mon - Fri). However, as a one-person business, I cannot guarantee same-day or next-day shipping.
I ship ALL items Priority with tracking, so we both know where the item is in transit. Ebay delivery estimates are not always accurate.
I charge a flat shipping fee that is almost always LOWER than my actual cost, so you know that it's reasonable. I don't charge extra for packing materials. I do recycle CLEAN sturdy boxes and packing materials (even the PO asks us to recycle their boxes).
Combined Shipping: Available when small items can be safely shipped together. If the ebay invoice does not automatically combine shipping, please contact me to request this - before paying, if you can.

Sorry, I NO LONGER USE MAKE AN OFFER OPTIONS. Too much time is spent negotiating unproductive low offers, counter offers and counter-counter offers. I really try to price my items reasonably, given my inventory costs, shipping and selling fees, and of course the value of the item. Please consider the value of the item and whether the listed price works for you in deciding to bid or purchase.
And thank you for supporting this small business!

RETURNS: I guarantee every item is as described. I gladly accept returns if I have overlooked anything you feel is important in my description or photos. Please ask any questions you have about the item before purchasing or bidding. If you have questions or concerns when you receive your item, please, ASAP, click on Ask Seller a Question in the item tracking, purchase list, or original listing, so that I can address any concerns promptly! NOTE: Clicking on Return Item automates the process and can actually make it harder to resolve an issue quickly and effectively. If a return is due to an oversight on my part, I will refund return shipping after item has been shipped back.
IMPORTANT: NO partial refunds for unreturned items - item must be returned. And NO renegotiating price after purchase.
