This Helios 44-2 lens is a modified Petzval lens that produces unique bokeh effects and is perfect for soft portrait photography. The more you stop it down the lesser the effect though the lens is never very sharp in this configuration. With a maximum aperture of f/2.0, it is compatible with Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, and Nikon cameras. The exterior is made of aluminum and the lens has a fixed focal length of 58mm.

It was manufactured in the 1980s and one can buy a M42 adapter to your type camera, (not included). The lens is manual focus and has a series of 44m. It is compatible with 49mm lens fronts and filters. This lens is a great addition to any camera enthusiast's collection.

Basically the front lens element is reversed. A spacer is put in to prevent the elements from touching. The effect is very soft. You can get crazy effects with this lens. This lens is in mint condition. The lens reversal can be reversed but the spacer o ring would need to be removed. Comes with both lens caps.
