Pair of Antique Thonet Bentwood Dining Chairs 

Description - A striking pair of bentwood chairs by Thonet dating from the early part of the 19th century. Featuring a high back, with an embossed floral seat design. 

Colour - Black
Condition - Used - Overall in good condition. Both chairs have been cleaned, tightened and waxed. We believe that they have at some point in there life been painted black, which over time has picked up lots of marks from use, creating a unique patina. There is one small area of damage on the seat area on one chair, and one chair has a slightly wider join on one of the bentwood sections. Neither of these affect the integrity of the chairs in any way.  Please review the pictures. The chairs are in solid structural condition and ready for many more years use.
