All controllers have been thoroughly cleaned so you don't get 20+ years of gamer gunk all over your hands. Controllers may have cosmetic blemishes/scratches but nothing that will effect the usability. Parts that have been fixed are varied but include OEM analog sticks, joystick, potentiometer, PCB/ribbon cable, 18 pin connectors or a cable swap.
