These boots were also Original Equipment on Holden VE Commodores as a heat shield for their crank angle sensor. We also supplied very similar heat shield boots to a Bathurst winning Commodore. Features: Reflective aluminum layer as heat shield and to reflect heat away Fibreglass high temperature inner lining Kevlar stitching Suits 45 degree and 90 degree boots Rated to 500 degrees F or 260 degrees C. These boots can be slid over cables or ignition leads and left loose, or you can secure them further with zip ties.

Nylon zip ties have a very high melting point. You can also use stainless zip ties as an alternative.
