An original antique, copper-engraved map of Westmorland published in 1701 as part of ‘Camden’s Britannia Abridged’ This map is relatively scarce and can be distinguished from the more common Seller / Grose county maps of the late 18th century by the more ornate title cartouche. The map itself measures approximately 140mm x 115mm with margins beyond, blank verso.

The condition is good with overall toning as is usual, slight reddish tinge to top margin not affecting the printed area; centrefold as issued. See photographs.
