AUSTRALIA 1913 Kangaroo 4d ANILINE Orange stamp with the variety "Retouch off NSW".
The orange/pink colour denoting the Aniline character can be seen clearly from the reverse. The spot in the bottom left corner (reverse image) is NOT a tone spot, but orange colouring coming through.
ACSC 15B cat $1500 for the analine shade alone.
The retouch variety is also pretty clear:
My old copy of Brusden White ACSC (2007) has this listed as ACSC 15g - "retouch to inner right frame and shading east of NSW".
The centring is almost perfect and all the perfs are good. The only caveat with this stamp is that it is "mint no gum".
No thins, tears or toning.
Great colour, centring, perfs and with a prominent listed variety. Rare!

Returns
- If you receive an item that you consider improperly described, please contact me within 14 days to arrange return and refund.
